Shot the amazing Annaliese Schiersch again for some new cover art. So far we worked on one of the images for an MTV page posting of her sone "All out of Love"
Here's the cover art and the info she posted about where the song was played and posted on MTV:
"catch “caged” on mtv monday, february 13th @ 10/9c to hear, “all out of love” then, head to mtv.com for the free digital download!! even if you don’t watch the show you should still pick up the free song." ... head to MTV.com and then to the Cage show page for a free download of the song!

Also check out "Sad Songs are for Happy People" where Annalese released the single on iTunes with an image form one of our shoots for the cover art. The song along with another one of her songs "Rusty" aired the other week on ABC's "Jane by Design."

I shot Annaliese Schiersch again recently to help her further her musical image. Here are some of the quick pics from our current edit. The idea is that some of these will be used for her promotional interests as well as a cover shot for her new single that she recently recorded "Pretty Little Thing." All in all we had a lot of fun shooting and Annaliese was real pleased with the images!

Shot Annaliese for her new promotional photo's last week. We are planning on shooting more to help her develop the singer persona she's looking for in print. Annaliese has an amazing voice and is super fun, but with a serious tone in her music. This is something we want to experiment with further.

Model Test, Shaun

I shot this model test with Shaun on Oct. 9/09 and makeup and hair was by Grace. We set this up on short notice and I figured I would just shoot some different looks around the Airstream on the roof of 5th. I was NOT going for a full story between the different shots. I tried to have some other shots set up, but there was not enough time for them. The first is a back light shot inside the Airstream which I figured would be more commercial and the second out side shot I wanted something more Poppy and fun, hence the outfit changes and Karate Kick!! All in all it was a fun shoot.

On Oct. 1st Mr. Scott Belcastro and I decided to go on a photo drive. The only problem is that eventually you realize if you want to take any good pictures, driving around is not the way to do it. Soon you get distracted because you really cant just stop in the middle of the road to take picture. You then become frustrated and stressed and eventually find yourself driving to the BAR!! That's just what happened. Cursed through N. Hollywood and figured I'd keep on going to SilverLake's RED LION, one of my favorites!!

Look Book

I shot this around the end of September. It was a Look Book shoot for KamiShade.com. There were four models and three makeup artist on set, all booked by Kami. We shot 19 articles of clothes in about 3 hrs. As far as looks I was shooting a high fashion pose as well as casual poses. I chose to put up a mix of the shots/poses to show a variety of the styles.

I shot Italian model Nabila and make up by Max at 5th and sunset LA on Saturday 09-12-09. It was on short notice and not much was planned out, but I feel I got some great beauty shots and I had fun shooting the dramatic backlighting.

LA Living

Life in LA has been fun and hard. It seemed like I didn't get out as much this year, but I did get to hang by the pool at The Compound all summer. I just didn't get out on the cruisers like the summer before. We would ride from Culver to Playa up past Venice, Santa Monica, and some times Malibu. Some of the other shots are of the great vintage I get to see roaming the streets or parked outside the studio I use to work for. The last shot is on Melrose were on any given weekend you could go get some overpriced vintage and see the choppers parked out side the cafes. Yes these are the days, Hot and how I like them.

Day 3 NY

NY City and the lost friends I love. I spent a week dividing my time between doing the tourist rout and living the night life with kids that make life feel like it's going to be alright. In the photo's Robert Malmberg of Collodion Studio's, and Dan Wonderly of a different dimension with his and our beloved Jen. Best week of my life. I came back so high on life, only to have it crushed by the the first day of work back in LA, reasons unmentioned. If you have not been to NY you must go at least once, just make sure to get a subway map.

Day 2 NY

A few shots from the Holga, while I was in UpState NY visiting Mr. Scott Belcastro and his girl Laura. I was lucky this day because he was able to take me to the best parts of Albany and Schenectady Ny. A true treat if you've ever been. A real Gem of a city where country meets urban living.... and Drug Abuse, but as you can see we made the best of it.

Day 1 NY

I spent a night on this farm in upstate NY, I arrived after 10p.m. and had little view of the farms surroundings. All I knew was the converted farm house I was going to be staying in for the night. A large room, which use to be the hay loft of the small barn on the estate. It was quite the frightful room in the dead of night, all alone and lying in a bed in the middle of the room staring towards two curtain-less french doors of dark abyss. All the while surrounded by small children's furniture. A small desk and chair in one corner and a child's rocking chair next to the bed. At any minute it was about to start rocking of it's own freewill. Though all I heard was silence, not a sound, except for the occasional animal scamper. The light left on.

I awoke though like I'd never slept better in my life. I have not woke feeling that good since summer days as a kid. Now I see everything in a different light and a different world. It was the most perfect picture of a farm. While unsure at night, I was in love by day.... these are my memories.
